Orders, payments and delivery

Order data are processed to take steps at your request and perform the contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Records required by tax or commercial law are retained under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Necessary data are shared with the payment provider selected at checkout and the delivery provider used for the order.

Contact and newsletter

Enquiries are processed to respond to you under Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. A newsletter is sent only with consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, generally using a double opt-in process. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect.

Cookies and consent

Technically necessary cookies and similar technologies are used to operate the shop. Non-essential analytics, advertising or personalisation technologies are used only after consent. Consent can be changed or withdrawn through the cookie settings.

Recipients, international transfers and retention

Service providers may support hosting, shop operation, payment, delivery, communications and IT security. Transfers outside the EU/EEA take place only where the legal requirements are met. Data are retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or legal obligations.

We deliver within Germany and to the countries available for selection at checkout. Available shipping methods, costs and expected delivery times are displayed before the order is placed. Duties, taxes or other charges may apply to cross-border deliveries unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires fourteen days after the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after being informed of your decision. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. You must return the goods within fourteen days and bear the direct return costs. You are liable only for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions

The right to cancel does not apply, in particular, to goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly or clearly personalised goods. It may expire early for sealed goods not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. Shelf-stable unopened spice products are not automatically excluded.

Scope and contracting party

These terms apply to orders placed through the online shop of Suzan Donuk, trading as 'Aunty Eli’s', Buchenkampsweg 18d, 51427 Bergisch Gladbach, Germany.

Formation of contract

Product listings are not binding offers. By clicking the order button, you submit a binding offer to purchase the goods in the basket. You can correct input errors before submitting. The contract is formed when we expressly accept the order, send a dispatch confirmation or dispatch the goods. The contractual language is German. Contract information is provided on a durable medium, normally by email.

Prices, payment and delivery

Prices are total prices in euros and include statutory VAT where charged. Shipping costs are displayed before checkout. Where the German small-business VAT exemption is applied, VAT is not shown separately. Payment methods are those displayed at checkout. Delivery is made to the address stated in the order.

Retention of title and statutory rights

Goods remain our property until paid in full. Statutory rights concerning defective goods apply. Customers with allergies or intolerances must check the current ingredient list and allergen information on the delivered package before consumption.

Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice does not deprive them of mandatory protections under the law of their country of habitual residence.
